With the advent of "the cloud" and the pervasiveness of mobile applications, organizations are increasingly concerned with security, threat mitigation and effective service management. Learn how a hardware appliance-based solution has many benefits to offer. Part one of this session will explore these topics including recent hardware enhancements to the appliance itself. Part two will highlight solution patterns involving DataPower appliances with WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR). Our group meets on the third Wednesday of every month (except July, August, and December since most folks are on vacation) from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM in Bloomington, MN. Past topis have included WAS Performance Tuning, What's new with MQ Pub/ Sub, Organizing Services with WSRR, Migration Best Practices, Middleware Virtualization and Cloud Technologies, etc. Sessions are free of charge. Please let me know if you want me to add you to my distribution list (send me an email with your request). I only send at most two emails to the distribution list per month: an announcement for the next event and a final reminder to register. Since the list contains over 500 emails of our IBM customers in the MN area, I do not share the list with anyone, not even other IBMers (I BCC everyone). If you want to be removed later, just send me a request and I will unsubscribe you. Note, even if you register on the website, you won't receive emails from me unless you ask to be added to my list since I manage it manually.
